Lincoln City 1-3 Mansfield Town

HOT-SHOT striker Liam Hearn, signed in the summer after proving his fitness following injury problems, grabbed two more goals to become the pre-season hero for the second time in a week.

Last Tuesday he struck two goals in a 30-minute cameo to help beat Leeds United. This time he played the second half and netted two more goals to clinch victory.

Fergus Bell had given the Stags the lead in the first half with a fine 20-yard strike before Lincoln levelled just before half-time.

Stags included two trialists, Port Vale pair Anthony Taylor and Anthony Griffith. It is believed that Taylor featured in several of the previous pre-season friendlies.
