Battling Mansfield Town got back to winning ways after Saturday’s controversial 2-1 home defeat to Bristol Rovers with a dramatic 1-0 win at lowly Yeovil on Tuesday night.
Reggie Lambe headed the winner 10 minutes into injury time – three days after the nine-man Stags had lost to a goal eight minutes into injury time against 10-man Rovers.
The visitors gave a debut to loan full back Blair Adams, who replaced long-term injury victim Mal Benning, who suffered a serious knee injury in Saturday’s first home defeat of the season.
Lambe’s winner, after he had a chance cleared off the line earlier in the second period, kept the Stags fourth.
Adi Yussuf also went close in a game of few chances.
