The Armchair Club’s second annual golf day at Coxmoor Golf Club raised £1,500 for the sporting charity.

A total of 100 golfers in teams of four competed in a stableford competition for the AC Challenge Trophy.

Winners were TYBRO — Simon Woodward, Mark Betteridge, Martin Scothern and Liam Woodward — with 92 points.
Runners-up was Derek Mcjanett’s team, Scots Wa Hae,with 90 points.

Paul Evans’ team, Sherwood Rangers, on 86 points, narrowly beat Dave Stringfellow’s Team Us on countback.
Event organiser, Armchair Club member Bill Taylor, was delighted with the support and help on the day and thanked the golf club and sponsors.

The presentation was attended by Armchair Club member and captain of Coxmoor Colf Club, Andy Tyler, along with the current Miss Nottingham and former Miss Mansfield, Alice Kurylo.

Coxmoor will also host next year’s golf day on Friday, 24th June.
