Sherwood Colliery Swimming Club, which provides training for youngsters aged four and above, has received £500 from The Mansfield Building Society’s Community Support Scheme.

Dominic Armsby, of the club, said it would allow them to train two additional coaches to level one ASA standard.

The Mansfield’s commercial development executive, Richard Crisp, said “The Mansfield is pleased to help a swimming club that supports children in our local area and promotes a healthy lifestyle. The enthusiasm, commitment and dedication of both the swimmers and staff was a delight to see.”
