The winner of the Armchair Club golf competition, which raised £1,900 for local sporting causes the group supports, was The Foremost with 95 points.

The team captain, and long-standing Armchair Club supporter, was Dave Formon, and his team included Ian Stephenson, Mark Wallhead and Mark Brown.

In second place at Coxmoor Golf Club was Phil Ward’s Ward’s warriors on 92 points

Third was Gary Mee and his team, Mee’s Magicians, with 90.

Fourth was Glen Elliott and JKP Ltd on 89, on countback.

Fifth was Bill Taylor and The Armchair Club, also on 89 points.
