Southwell-based Sherwood Archers held two open days as part of national Start Archery Week.

People of all ages could call in to try archery free — and there were more than 100 visitors.

Mark Burton, equipment officer and coaching organiser at Sherwood Archers, said: “The Start Archery event is a great way to connect with the local community. It also engenders a good club spirit amongst the volunteering members. Hopefully, we will also see a few new members.”
