A determined woman has turned the negative of being made redundant into a positive by launching a new Slimming World group.

Tracy Hickman has started a new role as a Slimming World Consultant and will be relaunching the Slimming World Group on 5th October in Brinsley.

After finding herself suddenly without a job in April because of the redundancy, Tracy was determined not to let it knock her confidence.

She decided to grab an opportunity to revisit a passion she started five years earlier and retrained to be a Slimming World consultant.

Tracy has lost three stones with Slimming World and is excited to be relaunching the Brinsley Slimming World group on Tuesday, 5th October at Brinsley Parish Hall with two sessions, at  4.15pm and 5.45pm.

She said: “Food optimising gives you the freedom to enjoy real food whilst never going hungry. I love BBQ pro, chilli, crustless quiche and pizza, to name but a few of their delicious meals. The list is endless.

“You are spoilt for choice and the best bit is that you can eat without feeling guilty.

“Slimming World helped me as a member lose weight and feel more confident and happy within myself.
