The Mansfield Building Society has given Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance £500 for medical consumables from its Community Support Scheme.

Chloe Bass, of DLRAA, said: “We are grateful to The Mansfield for donating these funds, which will be used to purchase pelvic binders that are used to control internal bleeding. Our charity survives on general donations from the public and vital support from corporate sponsors, trusts and foundations.”

The Mansfield’s sales and marketing manager Mike Taylor, pictured with paramedics, said: “We are pleased to help DLRAA. They work tirelessly to provide a valuable service that can sometimes mean the difference between life and death.”
