The Self Help Connect charity is bringing its roadshow to Mansfield to spread the word about self-help groups and self-care.

It will be in Mansfield Library on 12th March, from 1pm to 4pm.

The charity said: “Self-help groups play a vital role in supporting people to self-care and self-manage.

“By bringing people together with a shared experience, they offer hope, reduce isolation and enable people to find coping strategies that sustain their ability to live a full life with challenging health issues.”

Self Help Connect supports the creation, development and promotion of self-help groups in Nottinghamshire.

It has been in existence for more than 30 years and supports more than 250 groups and the professionals working with them.
