Abbey Primary children invited grandparents to come into the Mansfield school to play old-fashioned games.

The event was planned by the RRSA Champions (Rights Respecting Schools Award) group, made up of children and adults who help children understand their rights and responsibilities towards other people.

The school was supported with funding from Mansfield Partnership Against Crime.

The school has previously worked with the Selwyn Street Centre, visiting its lunch club and inviting older people into school to share lunch with the children.
