Open day at funeral directors

A Sutton funeral directors is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, 21st February to mark one year of trading.

Visitors will be able to look around the premises of A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service on Station Road, Sutton, from 12noon to 3pm. The company’s trademark silver Rolls-Royce fleet will also be on show.

Funeral arranger and branch manager Lucy Snowden said: “This is a great chance for members of the public to visit us in a more relaxed atmosphere. This is the ideal event for anyone that has wondered what it’s like inside a funeral directors, or have questions they have always wanted to ask but haven’t been able to.”

Senior Funeral Director for the Mansfield Area, Jonathan Baker, added “Come and join us for a cup of tea and find out the options for funerals and services. We are proud to offer a bespoke funeral service which reflects the life of our clients and are proud of the choices we provide – some of which will be on display on the day.’

The long-established firm, which also has branches in Mansfield, Mansfield Woodhouse, Shirebrook and Ollerton, is still owned and managed by the Lymn Rose family, who firmly believe in their founders vision of putting profits back into the company for the clients benefit.

Lucy, Jonathan and other colleagues will be on hand to talk about funeral arranging, memorials, grave tending and pre-paid funeral plans. Anyone attending on the day will receive a £100 voucher which can be used towards the cost of a pre-need plan.
