OAK Tree Primary School in Mansfield is celebrating after becoming the first school in Nottinghamshire to be awarded the Youth Sport Trust Gold Award.

It is one of 51 schools nationwide to have received the accolade.

The award recognises excellence in PE curriculum planning, delivery, working with outside providers and after-school provision.

It was presented by Nicola Biggs, Mansfield School Games organiser, centre, to head Sarah Moore, PE co-ordinator Paul Gash and two pupils.
