The biggest achievers of 2019 in Ashfield are being sought for an annual awards night.

The Discover Ashfield Awards will recognise achievements throughout 2019 and nominations in both Junior categories and the Performing Arts Award will also be considered for a bursary from the Harold Farr Bequest Fund.

The awards will be presented on Thursday, 2nd April and nominations close at midnight on Sunday, 8th March.

Junior Sportsperson Award
Awarded to an individual who has excelled in a sport at County or above level. Entrants must be Under 18 on 31st December 2019. Nominees must live or train within the district of Ashfield. Nominees who live in Ashfield may also be considered for Harold Farr Bequest Funding.

Junior Disabled Sportsperson
Awarded to an individual who has excelled in disability sport at County or above level. Entrants must be Under 18 on 31st December 2019 and live or train within the district of Ashfield. Entrants who live in Ashfield may also be considered for Harold Farr Bequest Funding.

Performing Arts Award
We all know someone who loves the spotlight. This award will go to a young musician, dancer or singer, maybe even a magician that has a talent for entertaining and is excelling in their chosen field. Applicants must live within the District of Ashfield and be under 25 years old on 31st January 2019. Being nominated for this award makes the nominee eligible for the Harold Farr Bequest Fund.

Change 4 Life Award
Awarded to an individual or family who have changed their life in a positive way through taking part in activity and making healthy lifestyle choices. Entrants must live or work within the district of Ashfield.

Health and Wellbeing Ambassador Award
Awarded to an individual who has made an impact on the lives of others through healthy lifestyle activity. Entrants must live, work or volunteer within the district of Ashfield.

Community Ambassador Award
Awarded to an individual who volunteers their time or service to make a significant difference in the local community. Nominees must volunteer their time within the district of Ashfield.
