RESIDENTS in Ashfield and Mansfield areas have new numbers to call about grass cutting this summer.

District councils have taken over responsibility for the service from Nottinghamshire County Council.

Enquires or service requests relating to grass cutting and weed control on the public highways in Ashfield or Mansfield districts should be made to Ashfield District Council (0800 183 84 84, [email protected]) and Mansfield District Council (01623 463463).
