There is a varied programme of music tribute events in June at Mansfield Palace Theatre – a mix of something for all ages and tastes.
Marc Bolan and T.Rex were some of the most flamboyant, charismatic stars of the original glam-rock era and all their hits will be performed by T-Rextasy on Wednesday, 5th June.
Talon return to perform The Best of the Eagles on Thursday 6 June. Their To the Limit 2024 tour will feature a timeless back catalogue, including Hotel California, Take It Easy, One Of These Nights, Desperado, and many more.
A must see for all Bowie fans, Bowie Experience on Friday 14 June is direct from the West End and features all the hits from A to Ziggy.
Get ready to be transported back to the 80s heyday of classic rock with UK Rock Show on Friday 21 June. Expect fireworks, flames and amazing lighting as a five-piece band recreate hits from rock gods such as Journey, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Kiss, AC/DC, Van Halen and many more.
George Michael tribute, FastLove includes hits like Wake Me Up, Too Funky, Father Figure, Freedom, Faith, Knew You Were Waiting, Careless Whisper and many more.
Queen of the Night on Saturday 29 June is a celebration of the music and life of one of the greatest singers of all time, Whitney Houston, while The Simon and Garfunkel Story returns on Wednesday 3 July. Using huge projection photos and original film footage, the international hit show also features a full live band performing all the hits, including Mrs Robinson, Cecilia, Bridge Over Troubled Water and more.
80s Live on Wednesday 17 July includes hits Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, The Edge of Heaven, Tainted Love, Love Shack, Living on a Prayer, The Final Countdown, Don’t You Want Me?, Relax, Never Gonna Give You Up, It’s Raining Men, and Rio.
Looking further ahead to September, there will also be tributes to Phil Collins (Thursday 5), Buddy Holly (Thursday 12), Motown (Friday 13 and Saturday 14), The Beatles (Thursday 19), Shania Twain (Friday 20), Celine Dion (Thursday 26),and Pink Floyd (Friday 27) at the Palace.
