Apex Martial Arts Academy, Mansfield, attended part of a 26-hour non-stop martial arts event that attracted people from throughout Europe.

The students were demonstrated, taught and learnt many new styles and form of arts.

The event in Loughborough was arranged by Rob Gouldon, of Loughborough Community Aikido Club, in conjunction with the Disability Martial Arts Association (DMAA).

The event raised more than £1,000 for the DMAA, which will use it to help those with disabilities take part in martial arts.
