Ashfield Citizens Advice Bureau is offering free money-management sessions to residents as part of its Ashfield Advice Partnership Project, thanks to Big Lottery funding.
Two-hour sessions are being held twice a month until the end of the year.
Natasha Mellors, partnership co-ordinator, said: “We are passing on our knowledge to local people to help them manage their own finances.
“We can also run sessions for groups and organisations across the district. We just need about 10 people to attend”.
