Volunteers will be helping shoppers in Mansfield transform their purchases into beautifully wrapped gifts this Christmas, all in aid of a good cause.

Volunteers from the local branch of Samaritans will be visiting Four Seasons Shopping Centre in Mansfield every day from 8th to 23rd December to wrap shoppers Christmas gifts in return for a donation to the charity.

Rebekah O’Neill, Centre Manager at Four Seasons Shopping Centre, said: “We are delighted that the volunteers from the Samaritans will once again be coming to Four Seasons during the festive season, it offers a great service to our shoppers to help make Christmas that little bit less stressful whilst also raising vital funds for such a worthy cause.”

The Samaritans, the leading suicide prevention charity, encourages people to talk them at any time they like, in their own way, in confidence about whatever’s getting to them.

Every penny raised will go towards supporting anyone in distress around the clock, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, across the local community in Mansfield and District. The Samaritans have a total of 201 branches across the UK and Ireland.
