Easter home and garden market in Mansfield

A Spring Home and Garden Market is being held over Easter at the Making it! Discovery Centre, Mansfield, from 18th–21st April, 10am-5pm daily.

After the success of the Festive Food and Craft Fair last year, organisers said they were keen to offer another family-friendly weekend to give the people of Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas a reason to visit Mansfield.

They say the market promises to offer something for everyone with gardening and plant stalls, crafts, Easter treats and a tombola. Admission is free and there is a covered area outside.

Over the four days families can watch demonstrations to learn how a spring flower basket is arranged, whilst children can watch and learn how to make a fun Easter cone. For those who wish to have a go themselves, kits will be available to buy to make at home.

Until Monday, 21st April, families will have access to the Interactive Galleries, which will be open for the half-term holidays (normal admission prices apply).

Making it! is providing a selection of creative “make and take” craft workshops during the holidays to suit children aged four-13 where children can take part in Easter hunts, learn basic sewing skills and indulge in chocolate based crafts.
