Portland College Day Services Gardening Group visited Rufford Abbey Country Park to take part in The Big Summer Clean Up.

The group was invited as a member of Mansfield Rotary Club’s Just Bin It! campaign.

Members collected bags of litter around the park grounds and said they wanted to go again.

They were rewarded with drinks vouchers.

Just Bin It! has attracted almost 400 people, who are regularly volunteering their time and effort to clean up areas close to where they live.

The club is providing litter-pick tools for volunteers to use as they clean-up the area — their neighbourhood, roadsides, pavements, parks and schools.
