College apprenticeships open event

Posted onPosted on 21st Feb

An open evening dedicated to apprenticeships is taking place at West Nottinghamshire College next month.

On Thursday, 3 March, people can discover more about the kind of apprenticeships which are available through the college as well as speak to tutors at the event taking place at the college’s Derby Road campus.

The open evening, which runs from 5.30-7.30pm, will focus on the benefits of becoming an apprentice as well as inform people about the process of applying for a vacancy – which can be done on the night.

The specialist apprenticeship team will be on-hand to go through the range of apprenticeships in industries such as business and management, construction, sales and marketing, care services, hair and beauty and more.

Representatives from local employers will be available for people to talk to about apprenticeship opportunities and what it’s like to work for these organisations. These include Nottinghamshire Police, King’s Mill Hospital, Glenair, AF Switchgear, Innova House Healthcare and many more.
