North Notts Hockey Club, based in Mansfield Woodhouse, held a charity match in memory of club member Bill Workman.

A total of £300 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support, which will go towards helping support more people living with cancer in Nottinghamshire.

Stacey Smalley, Macmillan fundraising manager in Nottinghamshire, said: “Macmillan relies on fundraising for 98% of its income so groups like these really do make a difference in helping us support more people locally.”
