Businesses urged to back charity raffle for Nottinghamshire Mind

Huthwaite-based creative agency, CCM Group, is urging businesses to back a fundraising event for its chosen charity of the year, Nottinghamshire Mind.

The online fundraising event, The Big Notts Raffle, is set to take place on Thursday, 13th May, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week 2021.

The support is in addition to the pro-bono services the creative agency is offering to the charity, including creative design and website development.

Money raised by The Big Notts Raffle will go towards enhancing Nottinghamshire Mind’s services, ensuring it has the resources available to support individuals with their mental health recovery.

The charity and creative agency have already received a number of donations and are now calling for more local businesses to get involved to help spread the message and raise awareness of Nottinghamshire Mind across the region.

Prizes donated so far include an electric scooter from REEL, an overnight stay at The Lace Market Hotel, a spa day at Clumber Park Hotel & Spa, two tickets to a Lincoln City football match, a signed Mansfield Town Football Club football, four tickets for four-ball golf at The Nottinghamshire Golf and Country Club and more.

Trent Peek, group director at CCM Group said: “We are thrilled to be working in partnership with Nottinghamshire Mind throughout 2021. We’re hoping that by organising this virtual event during Mental Health Awareness Week, we will be able to raise awareness and vital funds for such a worthwhile cause in our local community.”

Jo Sanders, partnerships and promotions lead at Nottinghamshire Mind, added: “We were absolutely delighted when CCM Group announced that they had chosen Nottinghamshire Mind as their charity of the year. The team has so many incredible ideas and show so much passion towards helping raise the awareness of our services, which is needed now, more than ever.

“We’re really looking forward to the event taking place in May and already have some amazing prizes lined up. The generosity and support we’ve received so far is truly heartwarming and it already feels like a real community effort.”

CCM Group is developing an event website for The Big Notts Raffle, which is planned to be released to the public at the start of April. The website will include further event information, prize donations, sponsor logos as well as providing a platform where people can purchase raffle tickets and make further donations to the charity too.

If you and your business would like to get involved and offer a prize donation to The Big Notts Raffle in support of Nottinghamshire Mind, you can email the team at [email protected] for information.
