Caring Mansfield business Sweet Paradise 22 got into the Christmas spirit to support celebrations in the Bull Farm area of the town.

It donated boxes of letters to Santa and several prizes to the Winter Wonderland Santa’s Grotto at Stacey Road Community Centre, Mansfield.

Santa’s Grottos are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4pm to 7pm.

All funds raised at the grottos will be added to money collected when Santa tours several areas on Christmas Eve — including the Oak Tree and Ladybrook estates in Mansfield, the Sunnydale area in Mansfield Woodhouse, Pleasley Square, Bull Farm Bright Square in Mansfield, as well as care homes, the John Eastwood Hospice and more.

Mansfield district councillor Sharron Hartshorn, who is helping with the events in Bull Farm, said: “This is a kind donation by a wonderful small business. The children love it. A big thank you to Sweet Paradise 22.”

Fellow councillors John Coxhead, Anne Callaghan, and Jane Beachus also collected from generous businesses in Mansfield Woodhouse to provide selection boxes for the celebrations.
