A Sutton hair and beauty salon is aiming to win its 30th award and prove it really is a cut above the rest!
Jade Gray said she was proud at how far she and her business, Acut Above The Rest, have come.
The Outram Street salon is a finalist in the Aesthetic Clinic Of The Year category at the 10th English Hair and Beauty Awards.
Voted for by the public, the awards seek to recognise and commend the efforts, work, and success of people in the hair and beauty industry.
Jade, whose business was named Most Wanted Salon Of The Year at the 2022 awards (above), said: “We are extremely overwhelmed at being shortlisted for the Hair and Beauty Awards 2023.
“We have an amazing team and we have worked extremely hard to make sure every client who walks through the door feels beautiful and comfortable. We strive to give the best friendly service and we love that our clients feel comfortable enough to become friends.”
Jade, who has three sons, including one who is disabled after being starved of oxygen at birth, now has a team of 10 at her multi-award winning salon, which is supported by family members.
“I believe in women supporting women,” she added. “We really are better together — and we are all just one big family here at Acut Above The Rest.”
The awards will take place on Sunday, 26th March at Colwick Hall Hotel, Nottingham.
