Shirebrook-based Smart Digital Business Solutions has become a strategic partner with The Musketeers CIC and pledged support to tackle digital poverty.

Photocopier company Smart Digital has long-supported the #WeMakeICTPossible campaign that aims to provide IT resources to children and young people in Mansfield and Ashfield.

As part of its strategic partnership pledge, Smart Digital has launched a Walk The Walk campaign in a bid to get other local businesses to support #WeMakeICTPossible through their own business endeavours.

For each new business that allows Smart Digital to reduce its current photocopying and printing contract costs using ‘best-in-class’’ Canon kit, Smart Digital will donate home-learning devices to three households across Mansfield and Ashfield.

Scott Westwood, director and owner of Smart Digital, said: “Our ethos has always been to work with local businesses and to help local communities whenever we can.

“We have pledged our support because we feel passionate as a local business about not simply talking the talk in terms of wanting to help, but actually doing something about it. We hope that cheaper photocopying costs for businesses will encourage other local businesses to join our campaign.’.
