Silver award for support of Forces veterans at ECS Engineering Services

Posted onPosted on 12th Jul

Huthwaite-based ECS Engineering Services has been recognised for its support of the Armed Forces community and the skills it can bring to business.

It was awarded a Silver Award from the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).

ECS’s recruiting and selection processes make sure Service personnel are not disadvantaged, and it ensures its workforce is well-informed of the firm’s positive stance towards the well-being and support of military personnel.

“The qualities, values, culture, and teamwork, which are all ingrained in the ethos of all Servicemen and women are also deeply valued by us at ECS,” said Mark Watkins, managing director of ECS.

“We strive to embed these qualities into the framework of our organisation, forging an inclusive, supportive, and Forces-friendly work environment. This Silver Award serves as an endorsement of our efforts.”

Mark emphasised that the Silver Award is a responsibility that ECS pledges to continually uphold.

“This recognition reinforces our commitment to supporting, employing, and honouring those who have courageously served our nation,” he added. “It fuels our determination to build upon our existing initiatives and pioneer new ways of supporting our Forces community.”
