The retail economy must be on the rise according to e-commerce website and on-line marketing specialist Purpose Media, who have taken on a business development professional with expertise in account management to help manage the rise in the number of new business enquiries.

The company, which is based in South Normanton, has grown turnover by 50% each year and has appointed Dominic Wiffin to ensure its significant pipeline of new business opportunities is maximised.

Dominic joins Purpose Media from PMGC Technology Group. He previously held roles at Vodafone and an on-line retailer where he was responsible for key account management, particularly of business-to-business customers.

Commenting, Purpose Media Managing Director, Matt Wheatcroft said: “Our aim this year is to achieve growth of 140% and move to new premises with the help of a D2N2 grant. By appointing Dominic we will have the additional expertise we need to look after existing clients as well someone who can assist me with winning new business.”

I jumped at the opportunity to join them as they have very exciting plans for the future and I believe my experience in technology sales and account management can help their clients, ensure Purpose Media continue to deliver a high quality service and achieve even higher levels of client retention.”

Dominic lives with his girlfriend Natalie in Narborough Leicester and they are expecting their first daughter in December. Out of work Dominic enjoys playing cricket and golf.
