Robins Return, an independent family-run business, sells personalised, unique and unusual gifts and interiors products. Many of its products are handmade or recycled, including most of its fixtures and fittings.

Brad and Jordan Duncan, part of the family behind the enterprise, caught up with Executive Mayor Andy Abrahams who was given a sneak preview of the shop before its scheduled official opening at the weekend.

They said: “Mansfield is our home town and we wanted to be a part of breathing new life and bringing people back into the town centre, making Mansfield a destination, so jumped at the chance to move into the newly refurbished Old Town Hall.

“At Robins Return we believe your home should be a reflection of yourself and lifestyle, filled with belongings that you love. As a family, we bring over 25 years’ experience in the retail and interiors industry, along with a passion and drive to deliver dedicated customer service and interior advice.”

Mayor Andy said: “Robins Return is just the kind of independent trader we want to encourage to Mansfield.

“It is shops like this – selling products you won’t easily find on the internet – which make our town centre stand out and special. I hope they are supported by people shopping local. They deserve every success.”
