An expanding Mansfield business is opening a new shop in the town’s Four Seasons Shopping Centre on Saturday.

Hey You opened as a three-month pop-up shop in the centre last August after previously being online only – but was so successful that it has remained ever since.

Now that success story selling homewares, wall art, ornaments and gifts means it is moving to a much larger and permanent unit in the centre, has expanding its range and has a new name to reflect the changes.

The store, based in the former Brighthouse unit, is now called Hey Baby, Hey You and will also offer nursery furniture, decor, blankets, and soft toys .

Operations manager Mo Collier said: “We have had a lot of success and a lot of really positive feedback from happy customers, so we now need to move into different premises. We have lovely, special homeware.

“We are offering something different in Mansfield, and something different to the norm.

“It’s great to bring baby items to Mansfield as there’s not always a lot of choice. We have lovely, special homeware too.”

Rebekah O’Neill, Four Seasons Shopping Centre manager, said: “Hey You is a perfect example of how pop-up shops can provide a perfect trial for businesses nervous of taking the plunge. We have had several independents’ success stories that start this way over the years.”
