National silver for businesswoman

Mansfield businesswoman Datsa Gaile is celebrating another award success.

Datsa, from All Things Decor and SolaAir Sequin Walls UK, won the Silver Award for Most Inspiring Businesswoman at the Best Businesswomen Awards.

She said: “I am overwhelmed. I never imagined I would grow so fast and be recognised as the most inspiriting businesswoman.

“I always say if my story inspires one person and makes a change then I am happy.”

Datsa came to England in 2004 from Latvia to seek a better life for herself and her two sons.

Little did she know that by investing £1.50 in a ‘light up bow box’ she would be on her way to greater things.

All Things Decor, based at Maun Close, is a multiple award-winning company and an official representative for SolaAir Sequin Walls UK, which supplies bespoke sequin wall products.

It specialises in creating unique, eye-catching interiors for the entertainment industry, events companies, interior design, outside signs and celebrity clients all over the world.

Debbie Gilbert, organiser of the awards, added: “This is a tough competition, judged by business experts. To win is a major achievement. Winners were selected for their business acumen, creativity, and high levels of customer care.

“Our winners are shining examples of outstanding entrepreneurs, who have proved their success to our judges and have shown they have the ingredients worthy of being recognised and rewarded.”
