Musketeers to champion community causes with local business

Posted onPosted on 16th Aug

The team behind #WeMakeICTPossible digital poverty campaign has officially launched The Musketeers C.I.C.

The community-based organisation is committed to championing community-focused projects, linking with local businesses to gain wider participation to charitable causes locally and nationally.

The company was originally founded in October 2020 by Gary Jordan, managing director of GMJ Solutions and chair of Mansfield and Ashfield 2020); Martin Rigley, managing director of Lindhurst Engineering and chair of Discover Ashfield; and Katie Cooper-Lewis, director of Grace Consultancy (Midlands) Ltd) to formalise the trio’s partnership and act as a conduit for their #WeMakeICTPossible campaign.

The three business owners have worked together for several years on various community-focused projects and in July converted the Musketeers company to a community interest company to support further causes.

Katie said “Forget the strap line ‘All for one, one for all’, The Musketeers C.I.C. is all about ‘Together We Achieve More – T.E.A.M.’. Our local area has a number of issues, but it also has great causes trying to tackle those issues.

“Our mission is to champion these projects, as well as initiate new ones. We will use our local, regional and national business networks to link forces and provide Mansfield and Ashfield with the tools and support its need to tackle issues and raise opportunities for current and future generations.”
