Mansfield 2020 Business Awards finalists revealed

Mansfield’s longest-running business awards have revealed the list of finalists for this year’s awards.

Winners will be revealed at the awards event on Friday, 29th April. Tickets are priced at £72 each and £720 for a table of 10, and includes a meal and live entertainment, contact [email protected] to book tickets.

Katrina Atherton, from the Mansfield 2020 Awards team, said: “We’ve had some outstanding applications this year, and I know the judges had a hard time choosing the finalists. It’s great we have so many amazing businesses in our area, and this is a brilliant opportunity to celebrate them and the fantastic things they’re doing in business and the wider community.’

The categories and their finalists are:

Commitment to the Community – Sponsored by the Evolve Trust
This award recognises businesses that have had a positive impact on society through leadership and integration of responsible business practices. This could be through a broad range of projects that have had a positive effect on the local community. The finalists are:

New Business of the Year – Sponsored by Ashfield Effluent Services Ltd
This category was open to businesses established in the last five years that have continued to progress against their plans and have developed a clear commercial understanding of their products, competitors and markets. The finalists are:

The Entrepreneurial Spirit award – Sponsored by Purpose Media
This award will go to the outstanding individual or team who is able to demonstrate the realisation of their entrepreneurial vision within their own business or in an organisation. The finalists are:

Business Innovation of the Year – Sponsored by Ron Brooks (Mansfield) Limited
The award is open to any organisation that can demonstrate a strong business innovation in the past year with a sustainable approach. The finalists are:

The Customer Focus Initiative – Sponsored by Irvin Robinson and Ian Bell Wealth Management

The Young Apprentice of the Year – Sponsored by Fidler and Pepper
