Mansfield 2020 and Mansfield 103.2 strengthen links

Mansfield 103.2 radio station is to broadcast live from more Mansfield 2020 breakfast meetings after the success of an initial link.

The award-winning business networking group said it was continuing to push the boundaries to do the best for promoting its members.

Broadcasting the 103.2’s breakfast show from the 2020 meeting allowed local businesses the opportunity to highlight their good work, whether it was a new innovation, raising money for charity or plans to redevelop the Market Place.

Mansfield 103.2’s managing director, Tony Delahunty, said: “We pride ourselves on having our finger on the pulse of everything that is happening across Mansfield and Ashfield.

“Working with the business community is incredibly important to us. Just as we want to see our business grow and succeed, we want to help others celebrate their successes.

“Broadcasting from the 2020 breakfast meeting gives us the chance to bridge the gap between local businesses and the public, and allows our listeners to learn just how hard the business community pulls together to make things happen.”

New 2020 chairman Russell Jones said: “Our fit together supporting Ashfield and Mansfield is ideal. Mansfield 103.2’s dedication to supporting and informing businesses makes 2020’s job supporting, educating and informing local businesses and community groups so much easier. It adds that extra special element to our other media elements, including the Mansfield and Ashfield NewsJournal and Chad, as well as the web presences we all present.”

2020 Breakfast Meetings take place on the last Thursday of the month from 7.15am at Portland College, Nottingham Road, Mansfield. If you would like to attend or are interested in becoming a member, email [email protected]. The Mansfield 103.2 Breakfast show is on weekday mornings from 6am.
