The new Lidl supermarket store being built on Leeming Lane South, Mansfield Woodhouse, is expected to open this winter, the German company has revealed.

It said construction was nearing completion and the store, which will provide around 40 jobs, should open in the winter.

Dominic Bryan, Lidl GB’s regional head of property, said: “There’s been much anticipation for this new Lidl store and it’s great that we are now entering the final stages of the development.

“We are extremely grateful for all the support that we have received so far and would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding whilst we enter this next phase of the development.”
