Go-ahead for 58 new homes in Mansfield

Regional housebuilder Piper Homes has been given the green light to deliver 58 new homes off High Oakham Hill in Mansfield.

Following the positive planning decision, Piper Homes is now hoping to start work on the new homes this summer.

The new development is situated south of Oakham Local Nature Reserve and is adjacent to Cauldwell Brook.

Rupert Parkin, land director at Piper Homes, said: “This new development will give people a wider choice of new homes in the local area; helping to meet the current high demand for new properties; particularly larger homes. Our plans include a mix of two, three, and four bedroom houses, with numerous designs and layouts for people to choose from.”

A bespoke development, all the house types have been designed specifically for this site, offering a contemporary and high-quality appearance, with inspiration taken from local architecture.

Rupert continued: “As a local housebuilder, we believe in building homes in the finest locations which means we put a large focus on ensuring our development plans are sympathetic to the existing environment.

“With that in mind, wherever possible, we will be retaining the existing trees and hedgerows, whilst also creating new green landscaping and protecting the boundary with Cauldwell Brook.

“We are very excited to have received planning for this new scheme in Mansfield and can’t wait to see it flourish into a beautiful place to live.”
