THE Boots store in the Four Seasons Shopping Centre, Mansfield, gave work placements to six students on a beauty course at West Nottinghamshire College offer.

They were interviewed by the fragrance and beauty department manager and worked in the beauty section.

Lynne Willoughby, work placement officer at the college, said: “This forms an integral part of the study programme giving the students a valuable experience of the working environment.”

Sally Francis, store manager, said; “All the girls were fantastic during their placement and it was lovely to see them develop and grow during their time with us..”

As well as Boots, the centre and other retailers there are looking to offer more opportunities to local students.
