Mansfield estate agent BuckleyBrown has been named best in the business across Britain.

The Leeming Street-based business was launched almost eight years ago and has already hit the top spot, not just locally, but also regionally, and nationally.

Last year, the company won the best agency in Mansfield accolade in the British Property Awards, going on further to beat a number of competitors to take home the Midlands title.

Because it won the regional title, it was then automatically put forward for the national title, and it has been revealed that the agency has been named number one estate agent in Britain.

Co-director Jon Brown said: “It is a dream come true really, although it is unbelievable that we only started almost eight years ago and now we are ranked number one out of thousands and thousands of other businesses.”

The Property Awards assess estate agents by using mystery shoppers, with businesses ranked on set criteria.

Jon added: “I’m proud that we are being consistent in delivering excellent customer service, and that we do what we say will do.

“All the team are focused on attention to detail and delivering successful outcomes for people who are selling their homes and the people who are buying them.”

In September 2021, BuckleyBrown opened an office in the centre of Edwinstowe to have a presence in that area.

Across both premises, BuckleyBrown now employs 35 people, and is Mansfield’s top-selling agent for 2022. The company specialises in selling and renting residential property, as well as land.

Jon says the business will continue to grow in 2023, and he has not ruled out the possibility of opening new branches elsewhere in Nottinghamshire.

“There has been some negative talk just recently about the housing market, but we have seen a huge surge in activity from buyers and sellers alike.

“This is most encouraging and shows signs that there are still lots of prospective buyers in search of their new home.

“Bearing this in mind, we are firmly of the belief that we can be successful by just doing what we keep doing — delivering excellent customer service and doing our very best for people.”

Earlier last year, BuckleyBrown also took home Gold in The Negotiator Awards 2022.
