ECS Engineering Services looking to expand workforce

Posted onPosted on 25th Oct

Sutton-based ECS Engineering Services is looking to expand its team after successful contract wins and business growth.

For more than 30 years ECS has worked closely with government agencies, local authorities, and private companies to deliver electromechanical engineering services throughout the UK.

It now has job openings for individuals with engineering experience seeking a change or those wanting to start a career in engineering, allowing them to take up a challenging role in which to prove their skills.

Steve Crapper, precontracts director at ECS, said: “We’re proud to be a growing company and eager to be able to provide new job opportunities to the area. Those who join our team can be confident that they will receive all the help and support they need to carry out their responsibilities, whether they start with us as a seasoned pro or as an apprentice!”

Current roles available include assistant accountant, project planner, plater, manufacturing inspector, SHE advisor, MIG welder, electrical project manager, site-based electrician, and electrical supervisor – all within the East Midlands.

ECS also dedicates time to giving support and insights to young people in full-time education, who want to take up a career in STEM roles.

Steve added: “We recognise the importance of young people contributing to future infrastructure with new ideas and approaches as the next generation of engineers. It is important that everyone has the opportunity to get a good start in any career, especially STEM – that’s why we offer many apprenticeships.”

Anyone interested in any of these positions or who wants to start their career in engineering can find a list of available vacancies at http://www.ecsengineeringservices.com/vacancies/, and email their CV to [email protected].
