Dalmatian to host free job clinic at The Hive in Mansfield

Following on from the success of Dalmatian’s last job clinic, the company has teamed up with the Garden Barber and MP Ben Bradley to host another one at the Hive in Mansfield on Thursday, 13th June, from 2pm to 5pm.

The workshop will be a chance for anybody who wants help putting together a CV to get advice from the experts, as well as getting first-hand advice from anyone wanting to work as a landscaper.

John Boden, managing director of the Garden Barber, said: “We’re really pleased to be involved with this, it’s a chance for us to meet and chat to people who might want to work in our industry, some people don’t realise that they have the sort of skills we are looking for.”

Lucy Trinder, operations director of Dalmatian, said: “We were blown away by the success of the last job clinic, we created a really calm environment where people came and got help putting together their CVs.

“Putting one together can normally be quite stressful, but the people who came along said they found Dalmatian easy to use and even if they had very basic computer skills they were able to get the help they needed to put something together. We also made sure everyone got a hard copy of their CV too.”

Ben Bradley MP said, “It’s always good to be able to get involved with people like Dalmatian, who want to make a difference to the local community.

“The Dalmatian Job Clinic is a fantastic way for people to get help completing their CV’s in a relaxed environment. It’s great that the Garden Barber will be there too, and I hope it is as successful as previous job clinics.”

The workshop is free to attend, but booking is essential.
