Mansfield-based chartered insurance brokers and financial planners Cowens celebrated a double milestone — a first staff get-together for more than two years because of the pandemic, and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Paul Chaplin, group chief executive, said: “We had started to slowly and delicately allow Cowens staff to re-enter the workplace, which was one large step on the road back to normality for Cowens and our people.

“Myself and the management team at Cowens decided it would be a fruitful and worthwhile occasion to get the team back together in a social environment — and what better way to celebrate than with the Platinum Jubilee.

“It was great to see so many faces in person, rather than on a video call, with many people meeting for the very first time as we have continued to expand our team.”
