Your Home Care, a Mansfield-based provider of home care services, has announced that a major new contract win means it will create around 50 new jobs.

Rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the company has signed a contract with Nottinghamshire County Council to be an approved provider of home care in Mansfield and Ashfield.

Paul Pitchford, co-founder and director at Your Home Care, said: “We’re new, but in a short time we have won awards, created jobs, and become the only CQC Oustanding-rated provider of home care services in the area. We are proud of our commitment to deliver high-quality care to people who want to live independently in their own homes.”

Co-founder and director Scott Marsh said the new contract meant the company can create up to 50 new jobs over the next 12 months.

Ben Bradley, leader of the council and Mansfield MP, said: “It’s good to see a local business doing well. It’s more positive when the new jobs are in this sector, offering care for local residents.

“We all know we have a shortage of staff and capacity to deliver adult social care, so this step forward in offering new provision and providing more opportunities to help people can only be a good things for all concerned.”
