Mansfield business Geostream Solutions Ltd is increasing its business premises by 50%.

Geostream, which started in 2001 as a back bedroom start-up business, has gone from strength to strength in the IT industry.

In the past six months it has recruited eight new engineers to keep up with the demand for its bespoke services.

The new premises will add a further 1,141sq ft to its existing base at Brunts Business Centre and will accommodate increased office space for the growing team of engineers, along with meeting and conference rooms, and canteen area.

Director Matthew Caunt said: “Our company has increased in size, not only in staff numbers but in the prestigious contracts that we are fulfilling.

“So the next step for us was to scale up and acquire enough space for our continued development. We are so pleased that our premises now reflect our output and that the staff have a greater area in which to work and relax.

“We help a lot of companies to manage a smooth transition of their IT infrastructures when they upgrade or add new premises, so we were in a good place to put our methods into use for ourselves this time.”
