A Stanton Hill-based business is on a mission to make more people aware of Mansfield Fire Museum.

Fire Door Specialists visited the museum and was so impressed that it has donated £200 towards running costs.

Commercial manager Sarah Armson said: “I have lived in Mansfield all my life and I never knew there was such a lovely little museum on my doorstep.”

After the team visited the museum behind the fire station on Rosemary Street, Fire Door Specialists’ founder, Kieran Percival (pictured right), presented a cheque to museum volunteer Paul Davidson.

Paul said: “It was a generous donation. A big thank you from all of the museum trustees.”
