Bullion dealer chooses Purpose Media

E-commerce website and on-line marketing specialists Purpose Media has beaten a host of London-based agencies to win a project to develop a new e-commerce website for ATS Bullion.

Founded in 2002, ATS Bullion specialises in the buying and selling of investment grade gold and silver, particularly bullion coins. The company was set up to take over the bullion and modern coin business previously run by Spink, the oldest coin dealer in the world, previously owned by auctioneers Christies.

Having identified that the way customers wanted to buy gold was changing ATS Bullion approached Purpose Media for advice on how to establish an Ecommerce website and integrate with Sage accounting systems. ATS Bullion wanted to meet growing demand and get ahead of their competition by making it easier for investors to buy gold on-line.

Michael Cooper, Bullion Executive from ATS Bullion said, “We had already met with a number of agencies whose pitch was based on what they could do for us and very expensive. Purpose Media listened to our brief and it was soon abundantly clear from statistics from other satisfied customers that they had the expertise we required. We have been delighted with the end result. The new website has given us a 24 hour shop window. Our weekly sales figures have an immediate kick-start as we now come in on Monday mornings with a raft of orders to fulfill.”

The new website has been developed to include SagePay, a secure payment method used by recognised by many leading banks.
