ALMOST 10,000 new building jobs are set to be created in the region in the next five years, according to research from the Construction Industry Training Board.

The board’s Construction Skills Network is forecasting a growth in private housing across the East Midlands of 4.3% up to 2018. The public sector is forecast to increase by 1.5%.
