Beans means a winning iBeani idea

A fledgling Warsop company is full of beans after winning major national deals for its unique product — an iBeani tablet bean bag stand.

The unique stands are designed to work with any tablet device or eReader.

DeVancer Ltd, based at The Hub Business Centre, Sherwood Street, Warsop, which insists on making the iBeanis in the UK with British materials, was set up by local entrepreneurs Ashley Freer and Nigel Spencer.

They created the stands after becoming fed up of having to hold their tablets.

Ashley said: “It can be so awkward trying to hold with one hand and navigate or type with the other.

“Having looked at other tablet stands on the market nothing seemed to quite match our needs, and so the idea behind the iBeani tablet stand was born.

“We’re not interested in cheap, mass-produced products. We aim to offer our customers the best premium brand, quality stands that are handmade in the UK.”

The National Gallery in London is stocking two iBeanis based on two of its most famous pieces — Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers and George Stubb’s Whistlejacket.

Educational equipment supplier TTS Group Ltd has also begun stocking the innovative tablet stands.
The individual stands feature the iBeani characterisation.

The new product was highly commended in the finals of the Giftware Association’s Gift of The Year 2016
DeVancer is also developing other new innovative products for the home and education market.

The company also has ambitions to help other new companies bring their ideas to market.
