Two staff from Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust have been shortlisted for the East Midlands heat of the 2014 NHS Recognition awards.

Amanda Solomon, sister on the Emergency Admissions Unit, and Adam Hayward, assistant director of nursing, have been separately shortlisted in the NHS Development Champion of the Year category.

They have been invited to attend an awards ceremony at Leicester’s King Power Stadium on 20th November. Winners from each of the nine categories will go through to the national finals in February.
