Bolsover singer-songwriter Anthony Parsons debuted his new single at the Black Market Venue in Warsop on Friday.

As previewed in the News Journal, Anthony appeared live to perform his new song, “I’ll Be”, for the very first time.

Anthony said: “I loved playing the Black Market and performing some of my new songs for the first time.

“’I’ll Be’ was a particularly emotional song for me to sing. I wrote it several years ago but it felt great to finally get to share the song; the song is personal to me and about fighting a battle.

 “One of the great things about music is that songs can mean different things to different people so whatever you take from the song and whatever it means to you personally is up to you.”

Anthony performed at the Black Market as part of a warm-up for an upcoming UK tour next year. ‘I’ll Be’ is released on 18th December and will be available on all digital music platforms.
