Mansfield District Council is holding a drop-in advice session on Low Cost Home Ownership to help people find out more about low cost housing schemes available within the Mansfield area.
Representatives from ‘Help to Buy Midlands’ and an independent financial advisor will be in the Mall at the Civic Centre on Chesterfield Road South on Monday, 4th August from 10am to 2pm to offer help and advice on how to get onto the property ladder.
A booklet with information on all the low cost housing schemes is currently available at community outlets across the District and online at www.mansfield.gov.uk/lcho
We are also looking for your views to help us plan for the future and to help us support the development of Low Cost Home Ownership schemes.
We have put a questionnaire together to find out what the demand for low cost housing is and what types of schemes would most benefit our residents. The questionnaire is available in the booklet and online at www.mansfield.gov.uk/lcho
Executive Mayor Tony Egginton said: “If you would like to own your home, but are struggling to get on the property ladder, this drop-in session is definitely for you. You will be able to find out more about Low Cost Home Ownership schemes, including Shared Ownership schemes, across the District and at the same time get free, impartial advice from an independent financial advisor.”
